BEFORE YOU BINGE, TRY THIS…

Many of us binge. What differs, is what we binge on. For some of us it’s food, alcohol, drugs or sex. For others it’s anger, anxiety, self-loathing or self-pity. The cycle in each case is surprisingly similar. We feel more and more tight and tense on the inside, our thoughts become all consuming and sooner or later, something snaps. We find temporary relief in ice-cream, red wine or prescription pills. Or we release tension by repeating deeply ingrained emotional patterns – we shout at our spouse or children, passive aggressively shut down on those around us or find ourselves wailing in despair because we’re convinced our lives are entirely hopeless.

Whatever your particular binge looks like, the cycle tends to become exhausting and destructive. The following video is about how to end that cycle.
